The role
The role involves designing and building cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, deploying secure and low maintenance environments using modern DevSecOps practices. The engineer creates and maintains development tools and CI/CD pipelines, and helps to shape the cloud estate by automating and improving development and release processes. Responsibilities include supporting release and production environments, ensuring operational best practices, and maintaining the technical infrastructure. Candidates should possess experience with cloud infrastructure, scripting languages, Infrastructure as Code, and build tools, alongside a good understanding of security and operational constraints. The role requires SC Security Clearance, with eligibility depending on UK residence history.
