The role
Lead the Contextual Security team and guide research from fundamental exploration to production-ready defenses addressing prompt injection and related threats in GenAI.
Manage a team of researchers with security and ML expertise, growing the group to keep pace with the evolving contextual security landscape.
Identify unsolved, high-impact privacy and security problems in generative models through auto-red-teaming, prioritizing critical products and features.
Build post-training data and tooling to test hypotheses, evaluate defenses, and validate improvements before deployment.
Generalize solutions into reusable libraries and frameworks for protecting agents and models across products, and share knowledge via publications and open source.
Requirements: PhD in Computer Science or related field or 5+ years of relevant experience, plus experience leading teams of 5-10 contributors; advantage for production/open-source impact and publications.
