The role
An AI Engineer is responsible for developing AI strategies, designing AI applications, and integrating AI solutions with existing systems. They work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements, utilise tools such as Python and SQL, and ensure scalable AI architecture and governance. Candidates should have experience with AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks, and possess strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical teams. The role involves hands-on development and strategic planning, contributing to the organisation's AI roadmap.
