The role
A diverse role as a Business Development Manager involves securing large projects within the acoustic solutions industry, primarily targeting architects, contractors, and specifiers. The candidate will build relationships, promote products, and prepare technical bids and tenders for projects between £1 million and £5 million in value. They should have experience in winning substantial projects and a technical background in acoustics or HVAC, with the ability to create technical design solutions. The position covers nationwide UK territory, with remote work when not visiting clients. There is potential for progression into senior management roles. The role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, and an understanding of the construction and acoustics sectors.
