The role
The primary electrical engineer will design and analyse grounding systems for switch houses and substations up to 400kV, ensuring safety in fault and lightning current dissipation. Responsibilities include modelling earthing systems using specialised software and providing technical recommendations for electrical safety and compliance. Candidates should have experience in high-voltage electrical design, earthing systems, and relevant technical standards. They will work with multidisciplinary teams in a technical environment focused on power transmission projects. Essential skills include electrical engineering expertise, problem-solving, and proficiency with design software. The role requires a minimum of five years' experience in high-voltage electrical systems and safety protocols.
