The role
A Sheffield-based role requires a fluent or native German-speaking copywriter to assist with translation projects for a client in the Swiss market. The copywriter will translate original English content into German, ensuring cultural nuances and linguistic differences are maintained. The role demands immersion in tone of voice and style specific to the DIY and home improvements sector. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and operate through an Umbrella or Limited company, with no sole trader options. This fully remote contract is outside IR35 with a day rate dependent on experience. The position focuses on ongoing translation work, requiring excellent linguistic and cultural awareness tailored to the Swiss market. Knowledge of translation tools, copywriting, and localisation techniques is advantageous.
