The role
A Senior or Principal DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and enhancing enterprise CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure frameworks. They select and implement tools, optimise automation, and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams. The role involves maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments in AWS, supporting operational monitoring, and ensuring rapid incident response. Candidates should have expertise in cloud operations, automation, and security principles, with experience in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline development. Strong scripting skills and knowledge of observability and FinOps are essential, alongside supporting large-scale engineering organisations and ensuring reliable software delivery.
