The role
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software tools for managing network infrastructure using Python. The candidate will promote software engineering best practices like code reviews and testing, and establish automated testing strategies while developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab. Managing and extending network sources of truth through data models and automation is a key responsibility, along with supporting team skill development. Proficiency in Python, REST and GraphQL APIs, and DevOps principles are essential. Familiarity with networking principles and automation tools such as Ansible is required.
