The role
A Senior Backend Developer is sought to contribute to a high-profile international technology programme in Bristol, specialising in Python for developing scalable applications. The role involves designing and building backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices, and supporting large-scale data pipelines using diverse technologies such as Neo4j, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable, robust software following Domain-Driven Design principles. Candidates should have extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, with additional skills in cloud environments being advantageous.
