A DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining Azure-based data and application platforms, focusing on automation and reliability. They will design, implement, and support Azure DevOps pipelines and ML Ops workflows, contributing to the organisation's cloud infrastructure. The role involves scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and Azure CLI, alongside supporting applications in Python, C#, and JavaScript. Skills in Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CI/CD practices are essential for automating infrastructure and deployment processes. The applicant should possess Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or DP-100, with additional expertise in Azure Data Factory and Key Vault seen as advantageous. The position requires participation in an on-call rota and working within a collaborative, innovative team environment.
