Software Engineer, Applied ML (Discovery, Recommendation & Search)

This role designs and implements the ML backend powering discovery surfaces, including recommendation, ranking, and search.
You will optimize models, data pipelines, training, and serving infrastructure from end-to-end.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, and data platform teams to bring ML features from idea to production.
Requirements include a CS degree or equivalent, 5+ years of industry experience, and building RESTful/gRPC services.
Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS/Azure), PyTorch or TensorFlow, and delivering performant services in a typed language with CI/CD.
Desirable experience includes end-to-end feature shipping, vector databases, GPU/TPU deployments, and production AI/ML systems.
