A Senior Platform Engineer specialising in DevOps practices is responsible for delivering system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. The role requires expertise in automation, CI/CD, cloud-native environments including private cloud VSI and Kubernetes, and network security fundamentals. Candidates should have strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, with experience in tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Additional preferred skills include cloud certifications, load balancing, serverless architecture, and network design for high performance and security. The position involves working with infrastructure provisioning, deploying workloads, and supporting scalable, resilient systems in a Linux-based environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of modern cloud and network technologies, alongside practical experience in orchestration and automation.
