Machine Learning Algorithm Research Engineer

This role focuses on researching and deploying advanced machine learning algorithms to improve recommendation systems across streaming, social features, and commerce use cases.
You will explore large language models to address cold-start and user intent, and integrate graph neural networks to model social preferences and lifecycle behavior.
The work emphasizes real-time perception and decision-making within short time windows and scalable end-to-end modeling to simplify and strengthen the recommendation chain.
You will design, implement, and evaluate ML systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful improvements at scale.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent strength in AI/CS/math, strong software design and coding practices, and a passion for solving complex problems.
Familiarity with NLP, data mining, and experience in recommendation systems, computational advertising, or search engines is a plus.
