Le poste
Seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to own backend services with Java 17/21 in a 100% onsite role in Chicago.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust backend systems, applying design patterns, and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3).
Must work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred) and integrate Kafka for streaming data.
Candidates should be fast learners, collaborative, and capable of working independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Some weekend releases may be required; this is a contract-to-hire, onsite-only position.
Nice-to-have: ability to contribute to system design and build, with potential AI-related skills as a bonus.
