A senior PostgreSQL DBA is responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, security, and resilience of large-scale database platforms. The role requires designing high-availability solutions, managing backups, performing migrations, and automating with scripting and DevOps practices. The candidate will work closely with application, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to optimise database operations. Strong technical skills in PostgreSQL administration, scripting, and cloud technologies are essential. The role involves on-call support in a 24/7 environment, with an emphasis on reliable database performance and security.
