Le poste
Provide accurate interpretation and sight-translation for medical encounters to support patients with limited English proficiency and their families.
Serve as a cultural mediator to improve communication between patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
Demonstrate strong bilingual communication, active listening, and memory skills, ensuring precise conveyance of medical meanings.
Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality, informed consent, and privacy, following the National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare guidelines.
Maintain and enhance interpreting skills through continuing education; obtain/maintain national certification (CCHI) within the required timeframe and complete Bridging the Gap training.
Full-time night shift with schedule variations (Sun 11:00 PM–7:30 AM; Mon–Thu 1:00 AM–9:30 AM); travel to other facilities may be required; $5,000 sign-on bonus.
