Graduate Data Scientist

The role involves working within the Data Science & AI Department on data-focused projects, developing data quality frameworks, ontologies, and data models. The graduate will complete multiple project rotations to gain exposure to various aspects of data science and metrology challenges. Collaboration across teams and engagement with scientific communities at conferences and events are encouraged. The position requires building data infrastructure for complex application areas and producing high-quality, repeatable results under ISO standards. Occasional travel to offices in Teddington, Cambridge, and Huddersfield is expected. After two years, successful graduates may secure permanent scientific roles within NPL.
