Senior Process Engineer – Northampton

A Senior Process Engineer specialising in lithography is sought in Northampton to support process development, optimisation, NPI, yield improvement, defect reduction, and continuous improvement in an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility. The role involves developing, optimising and maintaining photolithography and e-beam lithography processes, supporting scanners, steppers, mask aligners, coaters, and systems, and analysing manufacturing data using SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and statistical techniques. The engineer will lead process development, qualification, and cross-qualification of equipment, and collaborate closely with process, engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues. They are expected to maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures. Candidates should possess a relevant degree or higher in engineering or related sciences, with substantial experience in semiconductor or photonic manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of process optimisation techniques.
