De functie
Lead complex data science initiatives to develop and deploy predictive and anomaly detection models for AML, fraud, and financial crime detection within a regulated payments ecosystem.
Build and mentor a growing team of data scientists, guiding projects from ideation to production.
Partner with Compliance, Engineering, and Product to translate regulatory requirements into data-driven monitoring solutions and dashboards.
Ensure data governance, quality, and privacy, adhering to BSA/AML, FATF, and FinCEN guidelines.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve coverage, efficiency, and detection effectiveness of transaction monitoring rules.
Communicate insights and strategic risk signals to senior leadership to influence risk management decisions.
