De functie
Own and advance state-of-the-art AI/ML capabilities for biology, genomics, and healthcare data.
Collaborate with biostatisticians, bioinformaticians, and data scientists to translate business problems into ML/AI solutions.
Design, develop, validate, and deploy scalable ML models and pipelines using Python and modern frameworks.
Lead iterative proof-of-concept projects in an Agile environment and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to an AI strategy, build training resources, and mentor junior engineers.
Maintain a strong focus on data quality, privacy, inclusion, and responsible AI practices.
