De functie
Provide on-site Tamil to English interpretation for LEP patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Serve as an intercultural mediator to ensure equitable access to healthcare services and culturally sensitive patient care.
Uphold patient privacy and safety while delivering exceptional customer experience.
Typical schedule aligns with business hours (8 AM–6 PM) with some Saturdays; location is Canton, Cherokee County, GA.
Requirements include 1+ years interpreting experience; fluent in English and Tamil; medical interpreting skills; certifications are desirable (CMI, CHI, CCHI, NBCMI) but not required.
Contract-based, on-site role with a flexible schedule and potential for professional growth; vaccination and safety protocols observed.
