De functie
Lead business development efforts to identify, analyze, develop, and secure growth opportunities in water and wastewater utilities.
Develop strategies, build relationships with key stakeholders, and manage the opportunity pipeline from identification through deal execution.
Evaluate potential acquisitions and greenfield developments, performing financial, operational, and regulatory analyses.
Oversee proposals and RFP responses, due diligence, and negotiations; ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Support regulatory affairs to secure approvals and testify as an expert witness for acquisition filings; provide monthly status updates to executives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to create annual business development plans, lead cross-functional teams, and close new ventures; travel as required.
