De functie
A Network Engineer is responsible for configuring and maintaining Cisco routers and switches according to network design documents. The role involves onboarding devices onto management platforms and assembling network hardware in Data Centres. The engineer will support network implementation projects and manage Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN systems, including switching and IP addressing. Building strong customer relationships and delivering technical support are essential duties of this position. Candidates must possess significant Cisco networking experience, including working with Nexus, ISR, ASR, and 3850 switches, and have experience managing data-networking environments. Active and transferable SC Clearance, willingness to travel 20–30%, and availability for out-of-hours support are also required.
