De functie
The International Logistics Coordinator manages global import/export operations while ensuring compliance with U.S. trade regulations and related controls.
They collaborate with overseas offices, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to resolve documentation, EDI, and shipment issues.
The role leads logistics-related projects and process improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities include negotiating freight rates, analyzing transportation costs, and arranging air and ocean export shipments.
They maintain logistics data and documentation for compliance audits and respond to government inquiries; support insurance claims when needed.
Proficiency in Japanese and English is required for internal communication and stakeholder support.
