De functie
Provide American Sign Language interpretation for students and staff in an elementary school setting.
Interpret classroom lessons, activities, and assessments in real time to ensure clear communication for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and IEP teams to support individualized education plans and classroom accommodations.
Maintain accurate interpretations, adapt to diverse topics, and uphold confidentiality and professional standards.
Foster inclusive learning by enabling participation and facilitating accessible communication throughout the day.
This on-site role is based at Third Creek Elementary School in Statesville, NC, and is available starting August 5, 2024.
