De functie
The Labor and Employment Counsel serves as the primary legal advisor on all employment and labor matters for the organization.
Lead employee and union relations strategy, including collective bargaining, contract administration, grievances, and arbitration.
Partner with HR leadership to foster a disability-centric, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace.
Draft and update employment policies and handbooks; oversee investigations and responses to employee claims.
Provide training for managers on compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices; oversee external counsel as needed.
Oversee and mentor the Manager of Employee and Labor Relations and the Labor Relations Specialist, driving continuous process improvements.
