De functie
The Director of Audit Planning & Administration oversees all financial, external, and internal audits across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable frameworks. Coordinate all phases of audits, reviews, and the 990 tax return, identifying potential issues and recommending practical solutions. Create and manage the annual audit calendar, ensuring timely delivery with no deficiencies, material weaknesses, or findings. Review audit work papers prior to submission and provide coaching and training to the audit staff in line with policy. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, possessing a thorough understanding of the organization and its control systems. This full-time, remote role may require up to 40% travel during peak periods and emphasizes strong communication and reporting skills.
