De functie
A scaling technology business in Aberdeen seeks a senior DevOps engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves managing cloud environments, developing Infrastructure as Code, and enhancing operational reliability using containerisation, monitoring, and security best practices. The candidate will collaborate with software development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment, governance, and platform growth. Key responsibilities include deploying Azure cloud infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting containers with Docker and Kubernetes, and implementing monitoring and security standards. Candidates should have over five years' experience in DevOps or related fields, with at least three years' practical Azure experience and skills in scripting, security, and cloud management. Azure DevOps or Kubernetes certifications are advantageous but not compulsory.
