Senior Software Engineer, Platform - Data + AI (Back-End)

The Senior Software Engineer, Platform - Data + AI (Back-End) designs and builds scalable back-end infrastructure to enable petabyte-scale data pipelines.
You will create abstractions over datastores such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, and build file system abstractions over S3, Azure Blobs, and HDFS.
You will design distributed system components for stream and batch processing, analytics engines, and ML-oriented data systems like feature stores.
You will develop and maintain high-performance APIs for AI/ML applications, and integrate with technologies like Spark and Ray for data exploration and workload orchestration.
You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineers across teams, practicing test-driven development within an agile environment.
You will contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability tracking while delivering end-to-end ownership of components in a fast-paced setting.
