Principal Data Scientist & Machine Learning Researcher

The role involves leading the design and development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions within the Strategic Research Group. The successful candidate will assume technical leadership, manage projects, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing novel research ideas, delivering complex solutions, and guiding junior team members. Candidates should have extensive experience with AI/ML algorithms, pipelines, and deployment, alongside strong coding skills in Python and associated packages. Experience in defence, GCP, AWS, or peer-reviewed publications is desirable. The position offers hybrid working, with on-site requirements, and is located in Gloucester, South Gloucestershire.
