The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. It requires developing and managing production Kubernetes environments with AKS, and establishing GitOps and CI/CD practices with tools like ArgoCD and Azure DevOps. The engineer will build reusable modules, manage Azure networking, and implement cloud security practices, including identity and access management. They will also develop Helm charts, automate processes with scripting languages, and contribute to technical architecture and platform roadmaps. Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and security teams is key, as is mentoring other engineers and supporting platform evolution.
