Electrical Design Engineer

An Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for creating electrical designs, specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulations for major construction projects. They collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop sustainable and cost-effective solutions from concept through to construction. The role involves leading electrical design teams, coordinating with other disciplines, and resolving technical challenges during project lifecycle stages. Candidates should hold relevant electrical engineering degrees, be members of CIBSE or IET, and preferably be Chartered Engineers or working towards chartership. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and high technical knowledge are essential. The position may require a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check and other pre-employment assessments.
