A procurement specialist is responsible for managing purchasing activities within an engineering environment, including raising purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and processing import-export documentation. Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills are essential for ensuring supply chain efficiency. The role reports to the Head of Procurement and involves a varied, fast-paced work environment where attention to detail is critical. Candidates with relevant qualifications, such as CIPS Level 3, and experience in technical industries are preferred for this position.
