A Senior DevOps Engineer in Leeds is responsible for implementing and supporting improvements, enhancing software quality, and accelerating delivery times within a multidisciplinary team. They will work with DevOps tooling, containers, cloud services, and automation scripts, particularly in AWS and Kubernetes environments. The role requires communicating with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure effective service delivery. Candidates should have extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and scripting in Python, along with knowledge of databases and monitoring tools. Experience with Java Spring and working within the public sector are advantageous, along with the ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
