A Senior DevOps Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group will design, build, and support scalable, secure, and high‑quality DevOps capabilities across cloud platforms. The role involves developing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness, Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform, including federation patterns. The engineer will develop Kubernetes-native solutions across GCP environments, managing workload orchestration, Istio networking, and storage management. They will embed security and compliance into automated workflows with tools like SonarQube and AquaSec, and automate manual processes for self‑service capabilities. Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, along with contributing to team planning and capability evolution within an agile environment. The role promotes a culture of enablement where teams own and operate their pipelines and share knowledge within Communities of Practice.
