Le poste
An estimator position is available with a national contractor based in Glasgow, requiring a candidate with a background in civil, electrical, or general construction. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, collaborating with project teams, and analysing project specifications to ensure accurate budgeting. The successful applicant will utilise estimating software and participate in bid submissions, with responsibilities including reviewing quotes, assessing risks, and maintaining industry knowledge. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least three years' estimating experience, and proficiency in estimation tools and MS Office. Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills are essential to accurately interpret drawings and specifications and support project success.
