Le poste

A database administrator is responsible for supporting and optimising Microsoft SQL Server environments in a complex enterprise setting. They manage database security, perform patches, backups, and recovery, and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions. The role involves delivering database improvements, upgrades, and migration projects while participating in on-call support and incident management. Candidates should have experience in performance tuning, security, Azure SQL, scripting, and ITIL service management. Technical skills required include SQL scripting, PowerShell, and database administration best practices, working within on-premise and cloud platforms. The position is based in Craigavon within the IT department of a major food production enterprise.
