Machine Learning Algorithm Research Engineer

Role: Apply advanced ML and research to design scalable recommendation strategies for new users, live streaming, and e-commerce.
Leverage large language models (LLMs) to infer user intent and graph neural networks (GNNs) to model social preferences, addressing cold-start and content diversity.
Develop end-to-end modeling pipelines that simplify recall–ranking–re-ranking chains and adapt to real-time content dynamics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready systems powering hundreds of millions of users.
Emphasize robust software design, testing, performance, security, and reliability in scalable ML services.
PhD preferred; strong programming, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience in ML, NLP, data mining, and recommendation systems is a plus.
