Product Software Engineer (Backend)

As a Backend Product Software Engineer, you will design and own core systems for property valuation, risk assessment, and capital deployment. You will build backend services that integrate with MLS platforms, LOS, mortgage origination partners, and third-party data providers. You will design robust data models, APIs, and workflows for external property portals and partner ecosystems. You will lead the Automated Valuation Model (AVM) infrastructure, data normalization, and automated underwriting with a focus on auditability and explainability. You will collaborate with investing teams, quants, product managers, and frontend engineers to balance speed, correctness, and maintainability. You will own end-to-end production systems, apply cloud-native patterns, and make pragmatic architectural tradeoffs in a fast-moving environment.
