Interpreter - Dari

Provide accurate oral interpretation and written translation between Dari-speaking patients and healthcare staff for clinical procedures and communications. Guide patients through all phases of their visit—from intake to care to exit—and provide follow-up contact in their primary language to confirm appointments. Document substantial interpreted or translated communications in patient records and support clear, culturally sensitive interactions among patients, families, and staff. Assist with bilingual projects, administrative tasks, and general patient workflow when not actively interpreting. Maintain punctual attendance, professional conduct, and a commitment to patient-centered care while aligning with the organization’s mission. Requirements include fluency in Dari and English, an AA degree or equivalent with related experience, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), ability to read and interpret medical terminology, and relevant certification preferred.
