Biotech Engineer, Machine Learning

Collaborates with physicians, engineers, and neuroscientists to integrate ML solutions into neural prosthetics and interfaces, iterating based on clinical feedback and real-world performance.
Communicates results, interpretation, and applications of ML models to technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning with scientific and clinical requirements.
Develops and programs algorithms in Python and MATLAB, and designs data pipelines and workflows for multimodal clinical and preclinical data analysis.
Applies ML and statistics to support diagnosis, treatment insights, and ongoing refinement of neural prostheses.
Trains clinical staff, mentors students and postdoctoral researchers, and ensures data handling complies with ethical standards and privacy regulations; assists in manuscript preparation and grant writing.
Maintains quality and safety through robust quality control, collaborates on study design and sample size planning, and stays current with bioengineering and ML advances.
