SQL Server Database Administrator

A new contract opportunity exists for a skilled SQL Server DBA to work on a large-scale digital upgrade project within the public sector. The role is primarily remote but requires candidates to be based in Scotland and able to attain NPPV3 and Security Clearance (SC). The DBA will design, develop, deploy, and maintain database systems, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance, and provide technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders. The position involves supporting the full lifecycle of database solutions and contributing to strategic technology standards. Candidates should possess proven experience in database administration, SQL Server, and supporting enterprise database environments. This is an initial 12-month contract with the potential extension up to three years, offering a daily rate of £360 through an umbrella company.
