Principal Data Scientist - Safety

As Principal Data Scientist - Safety, you will lead design and execution of quantitative strategies to detect and mitigate harmful UGC and violative on-platform behaviors across assets, games, and avatars.
You will establish robust prevalence measurement methodologies, curate high-quality ground truth datasets, and translate safety metrics into actionable targets for Product, Engineering, Policy, Compliance, and Legal.
You will perform exploratory analyses of evolving threat landscapes and recommend where to invest detection and moderation resources.
You will design, run, and analyze experiments for new moderation features, communicating results to technical partners and aligning with policy and legal frameworks.
You will apply advanced causal inference to assess effectiveness and systemic impacts of safety initiatives on player experience and platform integrity.
You will partner with ML and Data Engineering teams to ensure sound measurement foundations, present strategic insights to leadership, and drive scalable safety solutions.
