In this hybrid role, you will report to a Senior Staff Technical Lead Manager. Own the panoptic segmentation task (instance and semantic segmentation), scale performance, align segmentation with object detection/tracking in an end-to-end architecture, and develop ML methods to improve these tasks using large pre-trained models. Collaborate with ML engineering/research teams to design efficient architectures for occupancy and panoptic segmentation, train and deploy models with emphasis on large pre-trained models. Partner with labeling teams to establish efficient human and machine labeling workflows. Analyze real-world panoptic segmentation issues, identify root causes, and propose short- and long-term solutions. Develop and maintain metrics for 4D (3D + time) instance segmentation and semantic segmentation.
