Superintendent

This is a live-in Superintendent role responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of grounds and buildings across multiple trades, including roofing, masonry, windows, sheetrock, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, doors, and hardware.
The position requires 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies, with duties supported by a Porter as assigned, and involves living on-site rent-free.
Maintenance scope includes roof sealing and repair, masonry cleaning and re-sealing, window/frame replacement, painting, sheetrock/taping, and basement security tasks such as locks and hinges.
Plumbing duties cover unclogging drains, fixture removal/replacement, pump work, and safe use of tools such as pipe wrenches and soldering equipment.
Electrical and boiler/heating work includes lighting and fixture repairs, basic boiler controls programming, and routine diagnostic and repair tasks within permitted scope.
Qualifications include basic carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and boiler knowledge; S-12/S-13 certifications within 60 days; a 2-year degree or certificate in maintenance; sustainability training preferred; and ability to perform Yardi inspections as required.
