Associate Electrical Engineer – Aberdeen

This role supports the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centres and mission-critical facilities in the UK and Europe. It involves assisting senior engineers with calculations, drawings, and documentation, while developing technical knowledge of electrical systems and UK regulations. The position requires collaboration across disciplines, maintaining technical records, and contributing to project coordination efforts. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in data centre electrical design, standards, and best practices, working towards professional chartership in the IET. Basic understanding of electrical systems, resilience concepts, and familiarity with CAD/BIM tools are desirable. A degree in Electrical Engineering and up to three years of relevant experience are expected, with a focus on developing a career in data centre engineering.
