Die Stelle
Provide on-site mechanical engineering support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center as part of the Code 34 Electronic Warfare Platform Engineering Team.
Contribute to mechanical design integration, develop and review technical data, and manage platform interfaces for fielded AN/BLQ-10 systems.
Lead SHIPALT activities by validating installation feasibility, identifying conflicts, and mitigating risk through ship checks.
Review drawings, assembly models, and 3D CAD data; develop and maintain drawing packages and technical data packages.
Prepare test plans, perform risk assessments, and deliver clear technical writing and presentations.
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, respond to ad hoc tasks, and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation with Visio or similar tools.
