Full Stack Developer

We seek a 5+ year experienced Full Stack Engineer to support a new product initiative, working 40 hours/week, 15 months. The ideal candidate has built applications from scratch, conducts technical research, and collaborates in agile environments. Onsite work in Milwaukee, 3 days/week.

Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong React, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and front-end/back-end skills
- Agile development experience
- DevOps practices and Git
- Relational and non-relational database experience
- AWS or cloud-based environment experience
- API development and integrations
- Solid understanding of system design patterns and architecture
- Strong communication skills

Key responsibilities:
- Develop a new internal application supporting annuity reinsurance processes
- Conduct technical research and participate in frequent meetings with engineering, actuarial, and administrative teams
- Support iterative development cycles, including coding, testing, and code reviews
- Build integrations with internal systems, cloud services, and third-party partners
- Collaborate with DevOps resources and contribute to architecture discussions
- Perform peer reviews on design and code
- Adapt to evolving requirements and maintain strong communication.
