Die Stelle
We are seeking a mid-level technical editor to refine complex planning and environmental documents across projects such as environmental services, housing, and urban design.
Collaborate with project managers and staff across multiple offices to meet deadlines while improving syntax, grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, completeness, and consistency.
Ensure documents align with the organization's style guidelines and the Chicago Manual of Style.
Maintain awareness of accessibility requirements, including ADA standards and WCAG 2.1 AA, and perform document remediation as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes and Styles), Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat to support high-quality deliverables.
This role requires 4-6 years of relevant experience, a cooperative, proactive mindset, and the ability to work remotely within the Pacific Time Zone.
