Senior SQL Server/Application DBA responsible for optimizing large-scale SQL Server environments in a finance-focused setting.
Collaborates with a global DBA team to ensure code quality, readability, reliability, and performance.
Designs and tunes indexes, analyzes top resource-intensive queries, and provides actionable optimization recommendations.
Delivers SQL Server lunch-and-learn sessions and advises on efficient database designs, including tables, datatypes, SPs, and functions.
Provides on-call support and implements high availability strategies (clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication) as needed.
Requires extensive experience in financial services, 30TB+ database sizes, and hands-on expertise with SQL Server 2014-2019 and SSIS.
